Siemens Mobility in the UK is seeking an Estimator to join our Rail Infrastructure bids and tendering team. You will coordinate cost estimates across disciplines and support larger bids with accurate data and clear presentations.

The role involves travel between Ashby, York, Manchester and Chippenham, and focuses on delivering competitive, well‑prepared estimates aligned with project plans and the Work Breakdown Structure.

Qualifications

• Engineering understanding and financial awareness required.
• Experience in estimating and working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to produce accurate, well-structured bids and tenders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and bid-related software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates for bids and variations to contracts.
• Coordinate inputs from costing disciplines and ensure data consistency.
• Input and review estimate data in databases and templates.
• Produce reports for reviews and support bid managers.
