Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions seeks a highly skilled Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across Industrial, Medical, Consumer Electronics and White Goods markets in the Americas and Europe. You will create demand by engaging OEMs and ecosystem partners, securing AVL approvals, and translating customer challenges into compelling value propositions.

The role requires leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive commercial opportunities from concept to revenue,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Electronics, Chemistry, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience with at least 3 years in business development, product management, strategic marketing, or commercial leadership.
• Minimum 7 years of technical, engineering, application development, or industry experience.
• Proven success delivering growth within industrial, medical, consumer electronics, white goods, or related industries.
• Demonstrated ability to influence customer specifications and drive commercialization of new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop opportunities directly with OEMs, brand owners, engineers, product designers, and ecosystem partners.
• Drive specification activities to implement Films & Smart Surface Solutions materials in future programs.
• Secure AVL positions and preferred supplier status.
• Build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Partner with regional sales teams to convert opportunities into revenue.
• Accelerate adoption of innovative technologies across target markets.
• Lead customer workshops, technical presentations, and commercial reviews.
