Hypha Recruit in Brighton is recruiting for a Business Development Consultant in Trading & Commodities. This hybrid role offers a £30,000–£45,000 base salary with realistic £100k+ OTE, plus equity, private healthcare and generous holiday entitlement.

You’ll build senior client relationships, win high-value projects, and work with consultants billing £1m+ annually. The position targets a sophisticated, consultative B2B sales environment in a global market.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of B2B sales experience.
• Commercially sharp with resilience and motivation for business development.
• Comfortable selling an intangible service and building relationships over longer sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify target clients.
• Develop senior-level relationships and open conversations with decision-makers.
• Understand client businesses, markets and challenges to build a strong pipeline.
• Win high-value assignments and develop existing accounts.
