Job summary

IMCD UK is seeking an Account Manager based remotely with national travel to manage and grow the UK medical convertor market. You will develop a strategic plan, build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders, and manage product portfolios across multiple lines.

Ideal candidates will have a strong technical and commercial background, plus 5+ years in the UK convertor market and proven sales experience. Travel 40–60% is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in polymer chemistry or related field or minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to navigate customer needs and add value at all levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategy in line with budget expectations.
• Establish and develop commercial and technical activity with UK medical moulders.
• Identify and canvass new customer and principal targets.
• Forge and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including design houses and OEMs.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive product portfolio for existing and new lines.
• Collaborate with European affiliates to realise group strategy.
• Handle product enquiries and business opportunities, contact customers directly.
• Monitor sales profitability and ensure timely price increases.
• Update CRM and pipeline platforms for digital optimisation.
