Job summary

IMCD UK is seeking an Account Manager (non-field based) to manage a high-volume portfolio remotely, drive new business, and coordinate with the Beauty & Personal Care team. You’ll respond to formulation questions, develop data-driven sales strategies, and maintain CRM records using Salesforce and MyIMCD.

The role emphasizes regular virtual interactions with customers, pipeline development, and collaboration with field-based Managers to grow the business in the UK market.

Qualifications

• Degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Numerate and analytical with data-driven decision making.
• Team player with ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume portfolio of existing and prospective customer relationships remotely with regular touchpoints.
• Identify and deliver new business opportunities, maintaining a healthy pipeline with other Account teams.
• Collaborate with team members to respond to customer formulation and technical queries.
• Develop a sales strategy aligned with budget and monitor KPIs to achieve targets.
• Complete daily administrative duties and produce regular activity reports.
