Job summary

GetRecruited UK Ltd is seeking a Commercial Sales Manager in Manchester. You will build and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers across offices, manufacturing, education, logistics and retail, while handling inbound enquiries and tailoring proposals to client needs.

You’ll work with AI-enabled tools, CRM, and senior leadership to secure long-term partnerships, grow account value, and drive revenue with a consultative, value-first approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in a relationship-led B2B role.
• Track record of developing customer relationships and identifying opportunities.
• Consultative approach with ability to understand customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customer contacts and senior decision-makers.
• Manage inbound enquiries and marketing-generated opportunities with a responsive, personalised approach.
• Conduct customer meetings and site visits to understand operations and priorities.
• Identify opportunities to grow account value through additional services and referrals.
• Coordinate tailored quotations, proposals, pricing models and tender responses.
• Maintain regular contact with customers and follow up on proposals.
• Negotiate commercial terms to support long-term partnerships.
• Align customer requirements with service delivery and pricing with Operations and Finance.
• Coordinate structured handovers covering scope, pricing and mobilisation.
• Use CRM systems to maintain records, plans and forecasts.
• Leverage AI tools for research, proposals and administration.
• Aim to achieve sales, account development, revenue and gross profit targets.
