Job summary

Hayley Dexis is recruiting a Stores Assistant in Bradford for a 12-month fixed term contract. You will manage stock accuracy, perform regular checks, and support the site’s engineering activities with efficient stock control and orderly parts handling.

The role requires experience in stores or stock control, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well with inventory systems. You will contribute to smooth operations, kit preparation, returns processing, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehouse, stock control or engineering support is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads.
• Confident with stock management systems and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular stock checks and ensure parts are located correctly.
• Book in deliveries and put stock away to support daily site operations.
• Take ownership of stock accuracy and monitor inventory levels.
• Create service kits for planned maintenance and manage returns.
• Identify opportunities to standardise parts and improve efficiency.
