Job summary

Personnel Selection is seeking a hands-on Stock Controller to support Stores, Warehouse and Assembly. You will ensure stock, materials and processes keep production flowing, working in a busy manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience in stores/stock control, be physically capable of lifting and moving stock, and be willing to adapt to different parts of the department. A positive attitude and good PC skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stores, stock control or goods in/out.
• Able to work on your feet all day and lift/move stock safely.
• Reliable, flexible and willing to support different parts of the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support across stores, warehouse and assembly areas.
• Pick, pack and wrap stock, materials and pallets accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and pack stock ready for despatch.
• Support goods in and goods out activity, including receiving, checking, moving and distributing materials.
• Move materials around the business and within the warehouse.
• Book stock onto the system using a PC.
• Pick stock and materials for production teams.
• Kit stock and materials for production.
• Carry out basic assembly tasks when required.
• Maintain clean, organised and safe stores and warehouse areas.
