Job summary

Hayley Dexis is hiring a Stores Assistant for a 12-month fixed term contract at our Bradford site. You will maintain stock accuracy, perform regular stock checks, and support daily engineering activities while keeping parts organised.

The role requires experience in stores/warehouse or engineering support, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise workloads with good communication and teamwork. 23 days leave and pension are included.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stores, warehouse, stock control or engineering support.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads.
• Confidence with stock management systems and inventory processes.
• Proactive approach and willingness to get involved in all operations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular stock checks and ensure parts are where they should be.
• Book in deliveries and put stock away, supporting daily site activities.
• Own stock accuracy and monitor inventory levels for critical parts.
• Create service kits for planned maintenance and manage returns.
• Support standardisation of parts and improvements in efficiency.
• Resolve stock queries and assist colleagues to reorder parts.
