Job summary

Hayley Dexis is hiring a Stores Assistant for our Bradford site on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will manage stock, carry out regular stock checks, and support day-to-day engineering activities. This role requires attention to detail, good organisation, and effective teamwork.

The position is based on-site in Bradford, with 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri) and a competitive salary plus benefits. Training and development are provided through our Hayley Academy.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehouse, stock control, or engineering support.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
• Confidence working with stock management systems and inventory processes.
• A proactive approach with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the operation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep stock organised and accurate, and run stock checks.
• Book in deliveries and store stock away.
• Maintain stock accuracy and monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of critical parts.
• Assist in creating service kits and handling returns to stores.
• Identify opportunities to standardise parts and improve efficiencies.
