NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership provides Clinical Logistics Transport Service across all Health Boards in Wales via its Health Courier Service, and is seeking a Stores Operative/HGV Driver to join this service based in the Bridgend area, serving South Wales.
THIS ROLE REQUIRES HGV CAT C LICENCE AND CPC
As a Health Courier Service Stores Operative/HGV Driver you will be responsible for stock items in stores centres and also for the safe and secure transport, distribution and replenishment of NHS Pathology, Blood/Blood Products, Secure and Non‑Secure Stationery, Laundry, Mail/Records and Stock items such as medical consumables (e.g. needles/syringes/containers) that are distributed to primary health care sites (Hospitals, GP practices, pharmacies, opticians, dental surgeries) across NHS Wales.
Desirable: ADR awareness.
Essential: Full Driving Licence, Moving & Handling and Awareness of Health and Safety.
Desirable: Basic Knowledge of Vehicle Maintenance.
