Job summary

Griffon Marine in Fareham is seeking a Stores and Logistics professional to manage goods receipt, stock control, and dispatch within a busy operation. You will monitor inventory, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with policies, incoterms, and regulatory requirements.

You will also support cross-department collaboration with Finance, Procurement, Engineering, and Production to meet project schedules and resolve issues while maintaining safe, compliant stores areas.

Qualifications

• Numerate and analytical with solid MS Office skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal teams.
• Understanding of logistics, import/export requirements and Incoterms.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Stores activities from receipt of goods to dispatch across the business.
• Monitor and report on inventory levels; prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain compliant stores and kitting areas, safe and tidy.
• Process orders and assist Finance/Procurement to resolve queries.
• Raise and process Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) and drive resolutions.
• Support Continuous Improvement and align material delivery with project schedules.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production and Project Management.
