Job summary

Kraken Works Limited is seeking a proactive Stores Person to support the Operations team and ensure smooth stores and inventory flow. You will manage stock accuracy, support production schedules, and maintain organised storage to enable engineering and production teams to access materials efficiently.

The role requires ERP/MRP experience, electro-mechanical manufacturing exposure, and strong organisational skills to meet deadlines while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience using ERP or MRP systems.
• Experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Goods receipt, stock control, picking and issuing materials.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control.
• Organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and collaborative approach with colleagues.
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and issue components for production to schedules and BOMs.
• Coordinate receipt, storage and issue of goods with accurate records.
• Verify deliveries against orders and flag shortages or rejects.
• Pack goods for despatch and assist with carrier bookings.
• Maintain stock movement records and conduct cycle counts.
• Keep stores tidy and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Support Production Control Team and 6S workplace improvements.
