Job summary

Nemco in Stevenage is seeking a dependable Stores & Dispatch Operator to join our busy logistics team. You will report to the Stores Supervisor and manage stock flow from goods in to dispatch, including packing and local deliveries.

The ideal candidate has a full UK driving licence, experience with ERP systems, and a keen eye for detail. You will work in a manufacturing environment, adhere to quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence valid for company vehicles.
• Experience in warehouse, stores or dispatch with ERP systems.
• Experience driving and delivering goods.
• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
• Good IT literacy including Microsoft Office and stock systems.
• Experience with EPICOR or Vantage ERP.
• Background in manufacturing or electronics assembly.
• Valid forklift licence or warehousing qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Goods Inward and stock control including inspections and counts.
• Move materials and kit parts to support manufacturing and dispatch.
• Pack, label, ship orders using courier networks and maintain logs.
• Drive company vehicles for local deliveries and supplier collections.
• Ensure quality and safety compliance to AS/EN standards.
