Job summary

Matalan is seeking a Team Manager to be a role model, champion our values and behaviours, and optimise sales by leading a high performing, energetic and adaptable store team. You’ll coach and motivate team members as part of the store management team.

In the absence of the Store Manager you’ll run the store, take feedback from customers to create a great shopping experience, and drive seasonal layouts and VM across the store.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in Fashion or Homeware Retail is expected.
• Strong communicator who can engage and motivate others.
• Ability to lead and develop a high performing team while managing store operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales targets and identify sales opportunities.
• Be a role model of customer service and uphold Matalan values.
• Lead the implementation of seasonal layouts and visual guidelines.
• Open and close the store and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Upskill team members and provide regular performance feedback.
