Matalan is looking for a Store Team Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive sales in a busy retail environment. You will model Matalan values, coach staff, and ensure a great customer experience by using feedback from shoppers.

You’ll oversee store operations, implement seasonal visuals, and be responsible for opening and closing the store while supporting colleagues across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Fashion or Homeware Retail
• Confident communicator who can engage and motivate others
• Proven leadership experience
• Solid understanding of Visual Merchandising (VM)
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and drive new ideas
• Knowledge of retail operations and cost awareness
• Resilience under pressure and adaptability to change

• Drive sales targets and explore sales opportunities
• Be a role model of customer service and company values
• Lead implementation of seasonal layouts and visual guidelines
• Open and close the store as required
• Upskill team members and give regular feedback to drive performance
