Job summary

Matalan is seeking a Store Team Manager to lead a high-performing, energetic team and deliver outstanding customer service. You will drive sales, model Matalan values, and ensure the store runs smoothly in the absence of the Store Manager.

You'll coach colleagues, implement seasonal layouts, open and close the store, and use customer feedback to create a welcoming shopping experience while maintaining controls on costs and VM standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in Fashion or Homeware Retail.
• Confident communicator who engages and motivates others.
• Ability to provide examples of leadership experience.
• Good understanding of Visual Merchandising (VM).
• Proven ability to identify sales opportunities and drive ideas.
• Knowledge of operational processes and costs within retail.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
