The Yorkshire Trading Company in Otley is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant to support the store team and help manage daily operations. The role involves 32 hours over 4 days, including some weekends on a rota basis, with flexibility during busy periods.

You will assist the Store Manager, deputise as needed, and help train and supervise shop floor colleagues, cashiers, and the replenishment team. You will manage displays, stock rotation and pricing while delivering friendly, helpful service

Qualificações

• Flexibility with shifts including weekends
• Customer service experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Assist the store manager in day-to-day running of the store
• Deputise in the absence of the Store Manager (key holder)
• Support in training retail colleagues including cashiers and replenishment team
• Work on store displays, stock rotation and put away
• Keep up-to-date with products, services and promotions
• Handle customer questions, complaints and issues
• Guide customers to racks and counters, delivering traditional customer service
• Cash up duties as required
• Ensure pricing is correct

The ideal candidate would benefit from being flexible as additional hours may be required at busy times

Duties to include but are not limited to:

• To assist the store manager in the day to day running of the store
• Deputise in the absence of the Store Manager (key holder)
• Support in the management and training of retail colleagues, including cashiers and the replenishment team working on the shop floor.
• Work on store displays / stock rotation and put away
• Keep up-to-date with all of our products, services and promotions.
• Handle customer questions, complaints, and issues
• Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters suggesting items, delivering great, traditional customer service
• Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Cashing up duties as and when required
• Ensure pricing is correct.

5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata)
