Job summary

David Clulow is seeking an ambitious Store Supervisor to join our team. Working closely with the Store Manager and wider store colleagues, this role focuses on developing leadership skills whilst gaining exposure to all aspects of retail management.

You will support day-to-day store operations, drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service and foster a positive environment where colleagues can thrive. This role offers ongoing training and clear progression within a premium optical brand.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer-facing sales experience.
• Ability to build rapport and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Optical retail experience and/or leadership experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store.
• Assist with store administration, rota management and operational tasks.
• Lead by example on the shop floor, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Drive sales performance through outstanding customer conversations and product recommendations.
• Support, motivate and develop colleagues.

• Maintain high standards of store presentation and operations.
• Take ownership of the store and step up when needed in the manager's absence.

We’re looking for an ambitious Store Supervisor to join our team. Working closely with the Store Manager and wider store colleagues, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their leadership skills whilst gaining exposure to all aspects of retail management.

As a Store Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the store, helping to drive sales performance, deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive environment where colleagues can thrive.

What you'll do

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Confidence supporting and guiding colleagues when required

• Customer-focused, proactive and solutions-driven
• Optical retail experience and/or previous leadership experience would be advantageous but is not essential
