Job summary

Lidl GB is seeking a Retail Shift Manager in Newbury. You will lead a busy store team, ensuring high standards and smooth operations across shifts, while delivering excellent customer experiences.

The role includes managing tasks, supporting colleagues, and stepping in for the Store Manager when needed. You’ll receive a competitive hourly rate (£15.45–£15.95), a 35-hour contract, and benefits such as holiday entitlement, staff discount, enhanced family leave, and a pension scheme.

• Manage store operations and colleagues in the absence of Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.
• Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to keep shifts running smoothly.
• Deliver the best possible customer experience on every visit.
