Job summary

As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl GB, you’ll help us maintain our high standards day after day. You’ll motivate your team to take responsibility for the shop floor, keeping our store running like clockwork in a fast-paced environment.

In return, we’ll offer a competitive hourly pay rate of £15.45 to £15.95 per hour for a 40 hour contract, with various shifts. Benefits include 30-35 days holiday (pro rata), 10% in-store discount, enhanced family leave and a pension scheme.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and support your team, learning from Leadership and Company Principles.
• Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks.
• Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you.
• Manage operations within your Store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.
• Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to ensure shifts run smoothly.
• Deliver the best customer experience every time they visit your store.
