Job summary

Lidl GB is seeking a Retail Shift Manager to lead a busy store team, drive standards, and keep the shop running smoothly from opening to close. You’ll motivate colleagues, delegate tasks and take responsibility for day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate (£15.45 - £15.95) for a 40-hour week, with an extra £2.00 per hour on bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts, plus a benefits package to support wellbeing and progression.

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to delegate tasks and motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and support your team, uphold standards.
• Manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.
• Oversee cash processes, inventory and stock handling to ensure smooth shifts.
• Deliver the best possible experience to customers every visit.
