Job summary

Lidl GB is recruiting a Retail Shift Manager to lead a busy store team and ensure seamless day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment. You’ll motivate colleagues, delegate tasks and uphold Lidl’s standards while delivering great customer service and a welcoming store experience.

The role offers an hourly rate of £13.45–£14.45 for a 30–35 hour contract, with enhanced bank holiday pay and night shift premiums, plus benefits including holiday allowance and staff discounts.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles.
• Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks.
• Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you.
• Manage operations within your Store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.
• Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to make sure shifts run smoothly.
• Give our customers the very best experience every time they visit your store.
