Job summary

Tesco Retail is hiring a Shift Lead to lead store teams during busy shifts. Your duties include supervising colleagues across departments, answering customer queries, and ensuring great service in-store.

You will align with schedules within the availability window and help deliver a smooth, safe shopping experience. The role offers pay from £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in M25 stores, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and options for 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service.
