Job summary

Tesco is hiring a Shift Lead in the United Kingdom. You’ll lead in-store teams to deliver great customer experiences, oversee daily operations, and support managers in their absence.

The role guarantees a minimum of 16 hours per week with flexible hours and a starting hourly rate of £15.59, rising to £16.86 in some stores. Qualifications

• Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer’s needs are met.

• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service.
• Staying curious and seeking opportunities to serve our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day.
