Job summary

M Group is seeking a hands-on stores operative to join our main distribution warehouse team. You’ll be responsible for issuing and receipting goods, performing daily stock checks, and helping maintain accurate stock levels in a busy stores environment.

We value reliability, physical stamina, and ICT literacy to use inventory software and scanners. Flexibility for weekend rota and potential call-outs is required; full UK driving licence is requested and training can be provided for forklift and

Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be working in the main distribution warehouse as part of a team looking after depot and stores.

We’ll need you to be responsible for issuing and receipting of goods and part of the day to day running of a busy stores along with carrying out stock checks and stock accuracy.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and overseeing the efficient upkeep of the depot.

We’ll need you to be flexible and participate in call out and weekend rota.

What you’ll bring

• Do you have enthusiasm to work as part of a team and work from own incitive?
• Have you got physical stamina, and are comfortable with physical demands of the role?
• Do you have Tec Literacy and are confident in using inventory software, scanners and basic computer application for administrative tasks?
• Have you got a background knowledge of the utility industry? This is preferred
• Do you hold a full UK driving licence?
• Do you have a Fork lift truck and telehandler licence? This is preferred but not essential as we’ll provide training.
