Job summary

M Group is seeking a hands-on site role in the water and wastewater capital delivery team in the United Kingdom. You will manage plant and equipment, ensure safety and compliance, and support safe, accurate operating activities while following water-quality standards.

You will apply utility plan knowledge to guide safe field work, with the opportunity to develop within a long-standing infrastructure-focused company and a supportive team environment.

• Knowledge of the street works code of practice.
• Experience in the water industry on a RM contract.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for all plant and equipment, ensuring safe, compliant operation and maintenance.
• Carry out safe-digging techniques to protect people, assets and the environment.

This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What you’ll be doing?

You’ll be taking responsibility for all plant and equipment, ensuring everything is used and maintained safely and correctly as well as working to clear health and safety standards, making sure all activities meet required compliance levels.

We'll need you to confidently carry out safe‑digging techniques and practices to protect people, assets, and the environment.

You’ll be undertaking R/M activities while adhering to strict water‑quality standards at all times.

You’ll be applying a clear understanding of utility plans to support safe and accurate operational work.
