Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is hiring a Trailer General Operative to ensure all site activities are carried out safely and in line with M Group Water procedures. You will set up and dismantle work sites, follow risk assessments and report any damage or defects.

The role involves working on highways with live traffic, keeping a tidy, compliant site, vehicles and tooling, and embracing safety-focused procedures while contributing to environmental and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to follow procedures.
• Have Water hygiene card, Water SHEA or CSCS.
• Hold Streetworks Operative Qualification, Emergency First Aid, Abrasive Wheels and Manual Handling qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and remove work sites in accordance with the code of practice.
• Report any damage or defects observed on site.
• Work in highways with pedestrians and live traffic.
• Maintain a clean and safe work site, vehicle and tooling.

Where will you be working?

This role will be within our demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

What will you be doing?

As our Trailer General Operative, you will ensure all related activities/works are undertaken safely, in line with M Group Water procedures and industry best practice. Complete and follow comprehensive and detailed risk assessments.

You’ll be responsible for setting up work sites and removal, within the code of practice. Report any damage/defects. You will work in highways with pedestrians and live traffic. Maintain a clean and safe work site, vehicle and tooling.

What you’ll bring

• - Do you hold a full UK Driving Licence? This is an essential requirement
• - Can you demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to follow established procedures?
• - Have you gained Water hygiene card, Water SHEA or CSCS?
• - Do you hold, Streetworks Operative Qualification, Emergency First Aid, Abrasive Wheels Manual Handling qualifications?
