Job summary

Morrisons in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to keep our stores running smoothly, safely and efficiently. You will deputise for the Store Manager, lead from the front and coach department managers to build a high-performing team.

You will drive high standards, review store data, optimise resources, and respond to customer feedback to keep daily service top quality across the store.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management at a large or busy store.
• Experience coaching/developing department managers.
• Ability to translate data into action to improve store performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower the team: develop management capability, mentor department heads.
• Maintain high safety and legal standards, ensuring food safety and hygiene.
• Drive sales and stock availability by reviewing data and optimising resources.
• Listen to customer feedback and drive continuous service improvements.
