Job summary

One Stop Stores Ltd is seeking a Shift Leader to coordinate daily store operations and lead a team to deliver a great customer shopping trip. You’ll support opening/closing, manage staff breaks, and ensure safety and presentation standards are met.

You will drive customer service, oversee replenishment, handle enquiries, and assist the Store Manager with community events and improvements. The role emphasizes inclusivity, health and safety, and teamwork across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the team to deliver the easiest shopping trip in the community
• Opening/closing the store and completing duty cover, ensuring decisions are right for customers, colleagues, and everyone’s safety
• Being the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager for day-to-day operational queries
• Supporting the Store Manager to co-ordinate seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere
• Making sure the store is always clean, tidy, and well presented
• Prioritise the replenishment of products that matter to our customers
