Job summary

St Christopher’s Hospice is seeking a Store Manager to lead one of its high street stores in the South East region. The role covers stock control, staff supervision, compliance, cash handling, and daily governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy hands-on environment with pace and delivery.
• Supervisory or management experience overseeing a team, including training and performance management.
• Customer-facing experience with delivering excellent service.
• Experience working to targets and KPIs and making commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stock, staff and compliance for a busy high street store.
• Open and close the store and manage cash handling and health & safety compliance.
• Lead and supervise paid staff and volunteers, creating a welcoming environment.
• Drive stock journey activities from sorting and pricing to display and sales.
• Report to the Area Manager and ensure store meets targets and standards.
