Job summary

Machine Mart in the United Kingdom is seeking a Store Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, drive sales and lead a small team of 4–6 staff. This role promises up to 45 hours per week with overtime paid or TOIL, and a strong focus on delivering excellent service.

You will lead from the front, motivate your team to meet challenging targets, and provide honest product advice to customers. A commitment to developing yourself and your colleagues is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of leading a small team.
• Managerial experience within a retail or field sales position, ideally in a hard goods environment.
• Proven experience in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Proven experience in motivating your team.
• Youll be a confident, enthusiastic and driven team player.
• Committed to learning and developing yourself and your team.
• Your personal skills will include accuracy and numeracy as well as basic computer literacy.
• Youll possess the desire to succeed both individually and as leader of the team.

About The Role

What youll be doing:

• Youll be responsible for the day to day management of the store.
• You will be working up to 45 hours per week - all extra time worked is paid or can be taken as time off in lieu```
• Youll be leading from the front, managing a small team of between 4 - 6 members of staff
• Youll be committed to motivating your team to deliver a great customer experience as well as achieving challenging sales targets
• Youll be committed to offering honest advice and building a rapport with customers, exceeding their expectations and reassuring them when they're bewildered by choice

What youll need - skills and experience:

• Proven experience of leading a small team
• Managerial experience within a retail or field sales position, ideally in a hard goods environment
• Proven experience in achieving sales targets and KPIs
• Proven experience in motivating your team
• Youll have practical experience / knowledge of some or all of our product range
• You'll be a confident, enthusiastic and driven team player
