Job summary

Machine Mart are seeking a Store Manager in Peterborough to lead day-to-day store operations and a small team of 4–6 staff. You’ll drive sales targets, deliver excellent customer service and motivate the team to exceed expectations.

With up to 45 hours weekly and a focus on honest advice and rapport-building, you’ll steer performance and ensure a great shopping experience across our product range.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of leading a small team.
• Managerial experience within retail or field sales, ideally in hard goods.
• Proven experience in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Proven experience in motivating your team.
• Practical experience/knowledge of some or all product range.
• Confident, enthusiastic and driven team player.
• Committed to learning and developing yourself and your team.
• Accuracy and numeracy and basic computer literacy.
• Desire to succeed both individually and as a leader.

What you’ll need - skills and experience
