Job summary

Pet Family Limited is seeking a Store Manager for our Pets Corner store in Blandford forum. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week across 5 out of 7 days, with a strong emphasis on customer service and operational leadership.

You will lead a small team, drive sales through product knowledge, and ensure store standards, stock control and visual merchandising are maintained to the highest level. Training and development are provided within our family-owned business.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering exceptional customer service and leading a team
• Ability to train and develop staff using structured curriculum
• Strong eye for store presentation, pricing, and promotions
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and improving store performance
• Willingness to work every 5 out of 7 days and handle stock control tasks

Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional customer service and going the extra mile for customers

We are currently recruiting for a Store Manager within our Pets Corner store based in Blandford.

Pets Corner have grown into a larger company through the years, however it is still very much a family business at heart. We quickly identify individuals who are keen to progress and will provide them with the necessary training and experience to do so.

We are an award-winning family run business where you are a name, not a number. We continue to grow and now have over 150 stores around the country.

Responsibilities of a Store Manager:

• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Going ‘the extra mile’ for every customer
• Recommending the right products or services for our Customers needs
• Maximising sales and performance by identifying any improvements needed
• Leading by example by demonstrating a hands-on approach to motivate, train and develop your team using our Pets Corner Curriculum
• Maintaining our high standards with store and product presentation
• Keeping up to date with pricing, promotions and merchandising
• Key holding responsibilities, opening and closing of the store
• Maintaining accurate inventory by checking deliveries, completing stocktakes and investigating any stock losses
