Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking an Assistant Manager for a busy UK store. You will lead shifts, drive commercial results, and deliver world-class customer experiences while coaching partners and managing KPIs.

As a store leader, you will own operations, schedule staff, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and play a key role in launching new products and initiatives at store level.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a dynamic, fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
• Ability to translate metrics into actions and improve KPIs.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts focusing on delivering commercial results and exceptional customer experiences.
• Own KPIs like labour efficiency, waste reduction, and sales performance.
• Ensure staff deployment meets planned roles and routines and adjust for customer needs.
• Coach partners, provide feedback, and recognize achievements during/after shifts.
• Act as duty manager as scheduled, overseeing operations and partner decisions.
• Uphold brand, health & safety, and food safety standards; drive new initiatives and product launches.
