Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited in Nottingham is recruiting a Customer Experience Manager to lead store operations from front‑of‑house to back‑of‑house, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to customer commitments.

You will manage front-end checkout, oversee store operations (including petrol station where applicable), and coach teams to hit KPI targets across sales, availability and colleague engagement.

Qualifications

• Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Truly obsessed with customers and service, coaching a team to do the same.
• Delivers KPI's or other performance indicators.
• Can manage disciplinaries, performance issues or other employee relations matters.
• Leads operations and can run the store in the absence of more senior management.
• Track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences with coaching outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for the overall customer experience across the store from the checkout to back of house.
• Managing the front-end checkout operation, ensuring customers are served to standard.
• Managing operations in the petrol station (If your shop has one).
• People management including performance, disciplinaries, scheduling and pay.
• Often assume overall responsibility for running the store with direction and support to the team.
