Job summary

ASDA is seeking a Customer Manager in Spennymoor to lead store service and experiences from the car park to the checkout. You will be the eyes and ears for customers, act on feedback and drive improvements with external partners to meet high standards.

The role requires frontline leadership in retail, a focus on availability, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service with the Back Office, Security and Cleaning teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager in a retail environment.
• Operational knowledge of retail environment and customer service.
• Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership.
• Strong customer service focus and positive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Be the main ambassador for delivering Asda’s service standards across the store.
• Lead and coach the team to improve routines and processes.
• Address price discrepancies quickly and act on customer feedback with effective actions.
• Create a workplace where colleagues feel valued, trusted and motivated to excel.
