Job summary

ASDA in Elgin invites applications for a Customer Manager who will be the main ambassador for delivering outstanding service across the store, from the car park to the checkout. You’ll lead the Service, Back Office, Security and Cleaning Teams, act on customer feedback, and liaise with partners to maintain standards.

You’ll bring prior experience as a team leader or manager in retail, strong communication, and a passion for developing people.

Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader or Manager in a retail environment.
• Operational knowledge of retail and customer service.
• Experience developing teams and managing change.
• Strong customer service focus and positive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Be the eyes and ears of customers, act on feedback, and run regular customer listening groups.
• Lead and coach the store team to deliver service excellence across all touchpoints.
• Drive strategy into action by ensuring best-in-town customer paths and availability, with strong KPIs.
• Create a culture of selling with personality and pride, delivering a legendary service.
