DEBRA UK Ringwood store is seeking a friendly Store Assistant to support the day-to-day running of the Ringwood shop, delivering excellent customer service, maintaining visual standards and stock handling with volunteers.

The role is part-time and temporary, offering 14 hours per week across two days. Training is provided, and safeguarding responsibilities apply as part of our commitment to a welcoming environment for donors and customers.

Responsibilities

As a Store Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day‑to‑day running of our Ringwood shop. You will help maximise income through excellent customer service, strong visual standards, and effective stock handling, while supporting colleagues and volunteers to deliver a welcoming and inclusive shopping experience. By role modelling the DEBRA values, you will help create a positive environment focused on making a real impact for the EB community.

Our Ringwood retail store is recruiting a Temporary Store Assistant on a Part Time, Temporary basis, working 14 hours per week, 2 days out of 7, earning £12.71 per hour / £9,252.88 per annum. Contract is up to the end of January 2027.

About DEBRA

We are a national charity that supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) - a painful genetic skin blistering condition which, in the worst cases, can be fatal.

What We Are Looking For In Our Store Assistant

You will be enthusiastic, reliable, and customer‑focused, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You will enjoy working as part of a team, supporting both colleagues and volunteers, and contributing to the smooth and efficient running of our Ringwood store.

Retail experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
