Job summary

DEBRA International in Bathgate is seeking a Store Assistant for a part-time, permanent role (14 hours across 2 days per week). You will support day-to-day shop operations, deliver excellent customer service, handle stock, and help maintain visual standards to maximise income while supporting volunteers.

Retail experience is welcome but not essential; you will receive full training and be part of a welcoming team dedicated to the EB community.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers and donors
• Support the processing, pricing, and replenishment of donated stock
• Help maintain high standards of shop presentation and cleanliness
• Assist with visual merchandising to promote sales and commercial success
• Support colleagues and volunteers in day-to-day store activities
• Follow DEBRA policies and procedures, including health, safety, and safeguarding
