Job summary

Culina Group is seeking a Stock & Systems Supervisor to join the Contract division on a full-time permanent basis. Working hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £33,351 per year.

You will supervise the stock control team, ensure KPI targets are met, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining stock integrity. You will assist the Stock & Systems Manager, resolve stock and system issues, and lead the Stock & Admin staff.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable high attention to detail and accuracy in stock records.
• Team player with ability to work on own initiative and supervise staff.
• Strong knowledge of on-site systems and processes.
• Organised approach to administrative duties and deadlines.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook; capable of leading a team.

Life in this role

As part of our, Contract division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Stock and Systems Supervisor on a full time permanent basis.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

Salary: £33,351 per annum.

As a Stock & Systems Supervisor you will facilitate in day-to-day processes within the supervision of the department. You will ensure that all stock control team KPI targets are met or exceeded and involved in continuous improvement. Supervising Stock Control department to ensure stock integrity and compliance are being delivered to the highest standard.

Key Duties of a Stock & Systems Supervisor:

• To assist the Inventory Stock & Systems Manager in the day to day running of the Stock department.
• Resolving stock & system and stock issues.
• Scheduling and supervising the activities and the functions of the Stock & Admin staff.
• To feedback on team and individual performance, including behavioural issues, highlighting good performance.
• To offer suggestions and assist in the organisation of training and development for the stock team Stock and Admin staff, including on-the-job coaching.
• To assist the Stock Manager in controlling levels of planned and unplanned absence and take appropriate action to ensure cover, and contribute to reductions of unacceptable levels.
• To take part in maintaining high Health & Safety levels.
• To supervise and contribute to track & trace requests, product recall and quality assurance.
• Monitoring and scheduling daily, weekly & monthly stock counts checks.
• To stay in communication with other Managers/Supervisors and Operational Team ensuring smooth flow of operations.
• To be involved in maintaining systems configuration.
• To travel and take part in monthly meetings with customers.

Qualifications

What you’ll need ...

• Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
• Must be a team player who is capable of working on their own initiative.
• Able to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of on-site systems and processes.
• An organised and focused approach to all administrative duties.
• Able to work to tight deadlines.
• PC Literate on intermediate level (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Ability to efficiently lead a team, delegate, supervise functions and keep staff motivated.
• Strong interpersonal, conciliation skills and the capacity to network with suppliers and customers.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems would be seen as an advantage.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role and good knowledge of stock control is required.
