Job summary

Culina Group Limited in Blyth is seeking a Stock Controller on a full-time permanent basis. You will maintain stock integrity in the warehouse, with a focus on accuracy of received and despatched loads, and work with the Receipt and Despatch Team to manage the pallet area.

Salary £29,535 per annum, working 4 on 4 off days (6am–6pm). The role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and MS Office proficiency; Autostore WMS experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with management and operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads.
• Manage with the Receipt and Despatch Team the problem pallet area.
• Amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity and complete checks.
• Hold and Release process.
• Provide stock traceability information as required (recalls, etc.).
• Investigate and report all short shipments.
• Complete daily and weekly reports.
• Handle multi-client and multi-customer queries.
• Assist Stock Management with investigations.
• Handle additional duties such as handovers and damage control.

Life in this role

As part of our, Contract division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Stock Controller on a full time permanent basis.

Salary:

£29,535 per annum.

Working hours:

4 on 4 off days, 6am-6pm.

As a Stock Controller you will play a vital role in maintaining the stock integrity within the warehouse. With an eye for detail and excellent investigative skills you will already have stock control experience and knowledge of WMS.

Key Duties of a Stock Controller:

• Liaise with management and operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads.
• Manage, in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team, the problem pallet area.
• Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity ensuring all checks are completed first.
• Hold and Release process.
• Provide stock traceability information as and when required for reasons such as recalls etc.
• Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments.
• Completion of daily reports required on a daily and weekly basis.
• Managing multi client and multi customer queries.
• Assist Stock Management with investigations.
• Any additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control, email queries and samples.

Qualifications

• PC literate in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience of Autostore WMS is desirable.
