Job summary

Uniserve in Tilbury is seeking a Stock Controller to manage stock counts on site, operate MHE licences, and keep the Warehouse Management System accurate. The role focuses on cycle counts, daily stock controls, and collaborating with the Stock & System Manager to investigate stock discrepancies.

You'll support department administration, monitor stock availability for customer needs, and contribute to process improvements in a dynamic warehousing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven Warehouse and MHE experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Experience in both office and warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct stock counts across various environments on site.
• Obtain and maintain appropriate MHE licences required to carry out stock counting task.
• Perform cycle counts and adjust WMS stock quantities accordingly.
• Ensure that daily stock control tasks are carried out accurately and promptly.
• Support the administration of the department to ensure accurate processes.
• Assist in the day-to-day activities of the business when required.
• Collaborate with the Stock & System Manager in investigating stock errors and report the findings.
• Maintain department records in adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage department stock databases, ensuring sufficient information is available for correct identification.
• Monitor customer stock needs, ensuring adequate stock availability to fulfil requests.
• Any other duties required by company and line manager

Key Duties

• Conduct stock counts across various environments on site
• To obtain and maintain appropriate MHE licences required to carry out stock counting task
