Job summary

Culina, the UK's leading independent specialist supply chain partner, is looking for a Stock Controller in Blyth to join our Contract Logistics division on a full-time permanent basis. The role focuses on maintaining stock integrity within the warehouse, with 4 on 4 off days and a 6am–6pm shift.

Salary is £29,535 per annum, with strong emphasis on accuracy and WMS knowledge. You'll liaise with management and the Despatch team, manage the pallet area, and provide stock traceability information.

Qualifications

• Previous stock control experience with a focus on accuracy.
• High level of detail and ability to meet daily targets.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork, with initiative when working alone.
• PC literacy and familiarity with MS Office tools; experience with Autostore WMS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with management and operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads.
• Manage, with the Receipt and Despatch Team, the problem pallet area.
• Amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity and complete checks.
• Hold and Release process and provide stock traceability information as required.
• Investigate and report short shipments; complete daily/weekly reports.
• Handle multi-client queries and assist with investigations.

Life in this role

As part of our, Contract division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as aStock Controller on afull time permanent basis.

Salary:£29,535 per annum.

Working hours:4 on 4 off days, 6am-6pm.

As a Stock Controller you will play a vital role in maintaining the stock integrity within the warehouse. With an eye for detail and excellent investigative skills you will already have stock control experience and knowledge of WMS.

Key Duties of a Stock Controller:

• Liaise with management and operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads.
• Manage, in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team, the problem pallet area.
• Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity ensuring all checks are completed first.
• Hold and Release process.
• Provide stock traceability information as and when required for reasons such as recalls etc.
• Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments.
• Completion of daily reports required on a daily and weekly basis.
• Managing multi client and multi customer queries.
• Assist Stock Management with investigations.
• Any additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control, email queries and samples.

• PC literate in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience of Autostore WMS is desirable.
