Job summary

Hyatt is seeking a dependable steward for Great Scotland Yard Hotel, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, to maintain cleanliness across kitchen areas and support the culinary team in a fast-paced environment in Westminster, London.

You will operate dishwashing equipment, assist with receiving and storing supplies, and ensure waste is disposed of hygienically. The role requires teamwork, flexibility, and a proactive, learn-and-grow mindset.

Job description

• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper cleaning, drying, and storage of dishes, cutlery, and cookware.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and organising food supplies and kitchen equipment.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables properly while following hygiene and safety protocols.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic tasks, ensuring smooth workflow during busy operations.
• Adhere to hotel/restaurant safety, hygiene, and food handling standards at all times.

  You are dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. A strong team player, you work well under pressure and bring a positive attitude with a willingness to learn. Prior stewarding or hospitality experience is a plus.
