The GM Motorsports Software team analyzes, defines, and delivers next-generation Motorsports IT software solutions, enabling innovative interactions between GM Global Engineering, GM Motorsports, and Race teams to accelerate drivers to the finish line first. The team comprises analysts, architects, developers, data engineers, testers, and project managers working closely with GM Motorsports Engineering and Race teams to secure podium wins in NASCAR, IndyCar, and IMSA sports car racing.
The Staff Software Engineer will provide technical leadership and software delivery, requiring an expert level technical foundation, hands-on project contributions, solution architecture development, and experience with scalable cloud systems. This role involves shaping and building Motorsports software, focusing on aerodynamics systems design to give our teams a competitive edge on race day and inform production vehicle development.
