A healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a compassionate Band 5 Staff Nurse for its Urology Procedures department. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care, teaching junior staff, and working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Applicants should be registered nurses with current NMC registration and evidence of continuous professional development, as well as some experience in an acute clinical environment. Training will be provided for those with less experience.
We are looking for a dynamic, highly-motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our busy Urology Procedures department.
Some urology experience is desirable, but in-house training will be provided.
We are an outpatient department running various clinics and procedures and we work Mondays to Fridays from 08:30am to 16:30pm; some days will be from 09:30am -17:30pm (the department is looking to expand the services and to work until 18:00pm).
There is potential for Saturday working in the future.

The post-holder is responsible for undertaking and recording comprehensive nursing assessment and planning, delivering and evaluating high standards of evidenced-based nursing care to a diverse group of patients.
Deliver care without direct supervision and be accountable for the care delivered and any omissions of care.
Teach and supervise more junior staff, students and the non-registered nursing workforce.
Be accountable for care or any omissions of care that you delegate to others.
Act as role model, delivering care with empathy and compassion as part of a multidisciplinary team.
