Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is recruiting a committed Registered Nurse to join an exceptional nursing home in the Wroxham, Norwich area, delivering nursing and dementia care within a warm, person-centred team.

You must hold a current active NMC PIN. You will assess residents’ needs, administer medicines, contribute to care plans, and collaborate with relatives and other health professionals. Permanent day or night shifts are available with a competitive £22.00 per hour and wide benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN.
• Experience in a care setting preferred.
• Strong team player with good time management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' needs and priorities of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per NMC guidelines and policy.
• Ensure care plans are completed and maintained with residents, relatives and health professionals.
• Report ill-health and arrange GP/professional visits when needed.

This nursing home offers nursing and dementia care, with a warm and homely person-centred approach from a stable and professional team

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin

As a Nurse your key duties include:

• Accurately assess the needs of residents and identify priorities of care
• Administer all medication and treatments within the NMC guidelines and company medication policy
• Ensure that residents care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives and other health care professionals
• Report any ill-health amongst residents and make request for GP/professional visit where necessary

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Proven experience of working in a care setting
• A good team player
• Able to show a can-do attitude always
• Well-developed time management and leadership skills
