Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is assisting a respected nursing home in the Wroxham, Norwich area to recruit a committed Registered Nurse. You will provide high-quality nursing care under NMC guidelines and will work as part of a warm, patient-centred team.

The role requires a valid NMC PIN and offers day and night shifts with an excellent salary of £22.00 per hour (up to £54,912 per annum) plus generous benefits and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN required.
• Experience in care settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' needs and set care priorities.
• Administer medications and treatments per NMC guidelines and policy.
• Ensure care plans are complete and updated with residents, families and health professionals.
• Report ill-health and arrange GP/professional visits as needed.

This nursing home offers nursing and dementia care, with a warm and homely person-centred approach from a stable and professional team

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin

As a Nurse your key duties include:

• Accurately assess the needs of residents and identify priorities of care
• Administer all medication and treatments within the NMC guidelines and company medication policy
• Ensure that residents care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives and other health care professionals
• Report any ill-health amongst residents and make request for GP/professional visit where necessary

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Proven experience of working in a care setting
• A good team player
• Able to show a can-do attitude always
• Well-developed time management and leadership skills
