Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a committed Registered Nurse to join a wonderful nursing home in the Wroxham, Norwich area. The role requires an active NMC pin and is offered on a permanent basis with day and night shifts available.

You will assess residents, administer medicines, and work with families and professionals to maintain care plans, while upholding high standards of person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Qualified Registered Nurse with current active NMC pin.
• Experience in care settings is preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' needs and priorities of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per NMC guidelines and policy.
• Maintain and update care plans with residents, relatives, and health professionals.
• Report ill-health and coordinate GP/professional visits when needed.

This nursing home offers nursing and dementia care, with a warm and homely person-centred approach from a stable and professional team

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin

As a Nurse your key duties include:

• Accurately assess the needs of residents and identify priorities of care
• Administer all medication and treatments within the NMC guidelines and company medication policy
• Ensure that residents care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives and other health care professionals
• Report any ill-health amongst residents and make request for GP/professional visit where necessary

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Proven experience of working in a care setting
• A good team player
• Able to show a can-do attitude always
• Well-developed time management and leadership skills
